It is something that we all have to go through at one time or another.   How do we find the strength to go on? It is all a part of life that we will deal with several times in our lives and for some reason no matter how many times you experience it.....  It never get easier. The poem on the bottom of the page was written by an unknown author and it makes tears roll from my cheeks every time I read it.

IN LOVING MEMORY

Country Road's Touch of Red (Gerri)     2005 - 2008  Forever in our hearts!!!

Suddenly gone.... and leaving our hearts broken with out you!!

Titanic (Chico)    1998 - 2006  We will miss you always!

Chico - known to all as a little man with a super big heart.

My sweet Chico I still sometimes see you from the corner of my eye.... lost but never forgotten.

Dozer  1995 - 2004   Our faithful friend who is missed everyday!

Baby Boy.... you were the sweetest softest soul that God has ever created...... our hearts will always ache without you.

The Rainbow Bridge......

There is a bridge that connects heaven and earth.

It is called the Rainbow bridge because of its many colours. Just this side of the Rainbow bridge there is land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.

When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and the frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.

There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly looks up!! The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!

You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you will take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.
